I recently bought two letters written by Edward Bayley of Market Drayton in Shropshire to a solicitor in Wymondham Norfolk. The earliest letter mentions that Edward's wife died in November 1820 so I'm trying to find out who she was. The second letter of September 1821 suggests that Bayley wants to sell his estate for £6000. He must have been a wealthy landowner. I wonder if anyone knows where I can look up Market Drayton Parish Records online. Thanks. Louise Udall-Waring. |
