Hi Don't know whether their is a data base but you could try contacting breweries in the area or you could try contacting The Morning Advertisers which is the trade paper which covers the Licensed Victuallars, their e-mail is [email protected]. Hi All, I just wondered if anyone knows whether there is a database of Pub Landlords anywhere ? I recieved a death cert today that shows one of my ancestors to have been a 'Licenced Victualler' in Portsmouth c1925. I presume that is another word for a Pub Landlord. Does such a database exist ??? If anyone knows of one, id be grateful regards Glen |
