Hi there, My German gt grandfather was a glass maker at this time, according to his marriage certificate. I have a hunch he may have also been a sugar baker- are the two connected in any way? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I know a 'charcoal man' could be a worker in the sugar industry so thought I'd ask. Also if anyone has any info about glass-making in the area then I'd be very grateful. Thank you Aileenx
