Can anyone help me?i have traced most of the family back quite a way but am stuck on my gt grandma,have no way of getting certs for her and really need to find out her mothers maiden name?any ideas? |

sorry i dont know her mothers name all the info i have is she her name is lillian ethel brett,born in early 1900,married alfred arbon,had 6 kids,alfred,ken,june,owen,roland and alan |

i'm not sure but i'm pretty sure it was around the peterbourgh area.do u think there is any poss she was named lilly but everyone called her lillian?my nan always knew her as lillian |

the december quarter i believe covers october november and december so it may well be that she was born in september but not registered until after the end of the month |

Yes, births are recorded in the Quarter they were registered so if she was born in Sept, probably registered in Oct, being the Quarter of Oct/Nov/Dec. The Quarters are titled March, June, September and December. Sarah x |
