Hi all thank-you for responding to me, I am confused as you all seem to be, I have never ever tried to look for my birth name or christian name, the past was to painful, all I have been doing on the internet, was tracing my real grandparents, under the name of Whitby. which was my real mother's maiden name, which I have got on quite good. My birth name WAS Maudie Carter, which was changed when I was adopted. I have never used the name Carter, when I have been looking. I just have no idea why when I went into Genes reunited, my birth names after all these years should h have appeared. Jo Phillips |
