I have posted several messages on this board for help in trying to find more out about my g grandmother, born in USA, and couldnt find a marriage certificate, first child born in 1878... Well I have finally found thier marriage tonight in 1926!! Some 48 years after their first child was born, so dont give up looking, it maybe there somewhere. Found out a couple of weeks ago she was married to someone else in 1876 and fuessed this why it took 48 years to marry my g grandfather, she died an honest woman I guess! Thanks to everybody for their help in this mystery and puzzle. Jayne |
