I know what you meen Irene My Dughter is 17 on the 14 March, shes the last one of my kid (5) to hit that age Can't think were the years have gone. |

Thanks Peter for the hint about Castle Eden - I've been and checked out the history of the castle on Durham Records Online. It is certainly a possibility, but not definite - still that's family history research for you. Thanks to everyone who mentioned Abebooks - what a wonderful site - I have found various books about Hurworth on Tees - a family village. I will have to work more overtime to be able to afford them all ! Cheryl |
