Hi Jess, Elaine again. Yes, someone looking on Rootschat just told me that they were mistranscribed and the family are mistakenly down in the name of Teakle. Still no sign of William Shepherd the Dad though. I think he must have just avoided the census that year. Wonder where he was - perhaps he was stuck in the loo or something?!! Elaine
