Jess - sounds like you havent been 'uploaded' with the new screen frames/templates. Have you left it logged on all night ? Try deleting Temp Internet Files (Menu - TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS->GENERAL TAB->DELETE FILES (NOT Cookies !) Then logout and in again.... |

Strange ... they quote - 'Genes Reunited Records are powered by Ancestry.co.uk. Click on the information you are interested in to access the Genes Reunited Records site. We want to make your research as easy as possible, but to start with you will have to RE-REGISTER and PAY separately for Genes Reunited Records – your existing LOGIN won’t work. Sorry – we know it’s a pain and we’re working to make it easier! ' But when you click on one of the routes into Ancestry, all you have to do is Login and it has you .... Like the improvements on the sidebar tho |

I am an ancestry subscriber and I happen to be logged in, but when I do a new GR search it just tells me how many it has found of that name on each census. When I click on the info it just takes me to a screen wanting me to subscribe.It isn't automatically showing me the results |

Jess, its to the right of the screen, may be obscured if you have your favorites list up on the left hand side. Use the bar at the bottom to scroll to the right and you will see the search box. |

Barbara, at least if you scroll the screen down a bit you can cover up the top add. that is going to be automatic for me now, change screen, scroll down to cover the annoying thing up. Linda |

They are trying to plug ancestry subscriptions. I am sure everyone seeing it will think, wow ,new seach engine, but when you do a search using the man, you have to buy Ancestry subscriptions to see the results. maybe everyone will, then there will be no need for people like us offering free searches!!!!!!! |

Wow, what have they done, signed in this morning at 7 a.m. - all normal, come back at 8.30 a.m. and everything is changed. Not sure I like it - seems a lot more confusing now! oH WOW, I just noticed on the right hand side there is a census search facility??????????? But how strange they havent told us about this happening. I know they had a questionnarie some months ago asking whether we would use a search facility for records on here if they provided them at low cost ....................... |
