Bruce there seem to be a fair few Dumbletons in Stockingford (although no Ellen as such). All the names -bar Polly- are there but with different parents. are you sure they were siblings? I wouldn't have thought there would for instance have been 2 Beatrice Dumbelton's in a small village. jess |

Itsy- sorry i dont follow you- how can some one be 'too old' when they are recorded as 38 in 1901 and said to be born in 1862? jess 1871 Do you think this one is more likely to be her? Given thta we have deff found the marriage i think you shouldsend for her marriage cert which will give you her fathers name. christoper fredrick Allder born 1854 +/- 2 years returns nothing, let alone someone with a wife, he would only be 17- are you sure he was married? What was wifes christian name? jess |

Hi, I am trying to find out about Samuel Lockett born c1849, lived for a time in Burnley and Durham. married to an Elizabeth born c1855. They had children one of whom was James Lockett born c1894. Also, Gilbert Foy born c1841 in Chorley, married an Elizabeth Dawson ( I think, but not sure ), one of their daughters was Ada Foy, don't know birth date. Also, if you don't mind, James Kippax born c1818 Lancashire, married to Mary ? born c1819, one of their children was William Kippax born c1854, they all came from the Burnley, Briercliffe, Haggate area of Lancashire.
