Just come across this one. Loogs good if your rellies came from Derbyshire. Mainly Wirksworth area but have loads of information so worth looking if you are researching Derbyshire. www(.)wirksworth(.)org(.)uk remove brackets. Would like to see more Scottish sites other than the obvious. Please. Happy hunting. Hilary. |

Give this a go. Beware though , loads of pop ups . Put your name in , in all the different variations you know of. If its English names your looking for, first try them on the UK site , then try them on the England site. Address is as follows : http://www.rat.de/kuijsten/navigator/uk/index.html Regards Connie |

Thanks Christine - I understand (I think...) Also to anyone interested, I'm sorry I didn't give the correct address; the home page is actually on http://www.wharfegen.org.uk/newged/index.php?command=gedcom and the info is for data between 1600 and 1850. As we have some Fleshers dating from back then it was quite fascinating to find so many, neatly detailed in trees - even though I'm not yet sure which Flesher belongs to us!! Janet in France.... |

Hi Janet, you didn't need it round yours because it wasn't a .*com or a .*co address. Org addresses are alright. This site doesn't allow address's to be printed if you don't use the () or * You don't need brackets or * round all the d o t s in an address only the ones beside the .(co) or .(com) part! This site is like RG but you don't have to join to view them www*tribalpages*com family trees from all over the world and a built in search mechanism. Some are password protected, you have to either guess or contact the 'owner' for the password Many have pictures and family stories. Some trees have the ability to view and print up to 9 generation charts |
