Thanks Paula and Mike, will go down to the records offfice this week to check it out. I was just thinking about the walk from Old Belgrave to Barrow on Soar to register a birth/death, must have been terrible. Jo |

Greeting's Again Jo... No.... In those days the registrar went round the district and would be in a Village on a certain date for registrations... Don't forget to take some ID with you if your not registed at the Records Office..... MIKE. So..... Who's going to be the 1,000 person to post a message on Beverly's threads then. ? ......(4 more to go ) |
