BURGESS - in 1901 John is listed as a widower and have traced his two eldest sons in that census - however cannot find his youngest three children nor death of his wife - am wondering if they all died. Details from 1891 census - BURGESS Eliza b. 1858 Cranbourne Wilts. Anne M aged 9, Esther A aged 2 and William A aged 4 mths - then living at 70 Coburg Street, Portsea. Also looking for in 1901 census - TOY Richard Henry F and wife Alice Sarah (nee Warren) b. 1873 Portsea (no other info on this couple) Thank you Ann

Im trying to find details on Albert William faulkner, poss birth year 1910 ,poss died Jan feb march quater 1963, Southampton area. Last known address 158 Hill Road Southampton. Details on Jessie Dunn poss married Albert but cant find any info.She may have come from Scotland.(bit vague i know!) Birth of Teresa Jessie Dunn Faulkner 30/6/1943 Southampton area. Hi Jess Sorry I've only just got back to the board. Thank you very much for looking up William Seaton for me, much appreciated! The 1891 death could possibly be his, none of this family seem to have had very long lives! Sister died age 15 months, another age 22 and brother 15, their Mom age 47. hi jess-surprisingly I do have a copy of what might be their marriage certificate(JOHN MCCARTHY & ANNIE KEATING)11 NOV 1899.The ages don't quite match up-but I have now realised that is quite common!!The fathers are listed as JOHN MCCARTHY (deceased) and JOHN KEATING kind regards frankie

Jess Could you possibly do a look up on the 1871 census for Birmingham. JOHN WOOLLEY born Birmingham 1847 should be married wife was younger name unknown. Possibly has his grandparents there who were Joseph and Elizabeth Shale. Not much info I know sorry. Thank you Pat

Go on then Frankie- WHERE were they married...! I assume L'pool but pointless me assuming! I cant find an Annie Keating at all in the census before they were married except one of 40 odd.. Jess - sorry for the delay in replying - have only just come back on - BURGESS family 1901 - John Snr was a widower at 5 Cottage View, Portsmouth John Jnr a boarder at 64 Sussex St, Portsmouth Cornelius was on board ship. Re Esther - poor little toad - did cross my mind that children might be in care if they had survived but why on earth Suffolk? TOY family Richard Henry F and Alice Sarah Warren b 1873 Portsea married in Islington in 1892. Sorry forgot to give you details of marr. Know nothing of Richard prior/after marr and nothing of Alice after marr. Thank you Ann
