I used to know a chap who was a Tea Taster in a London tea merchants - is that a possible for this guy? He used to try out different blends of leaves. NB No, Ive always looked out for the dream job of 'Bed Tester'.

Heather actually a bed tester is probably more strenuous than you think as the mattress has to be bounced on to check for splitting seams etc.... unless that was what you were meaning LOL Zoe ;op

I had two rellies - sisters and it LOOKED like they were occupied as jolly slappers - but after spending a few hours looking at it all ways and realising they were in the pottery industy it turns out they were jelly slippers - the jelly referring to the type of pots they made and the slip being a glaze - (I think) lol

I've got a 'Tea Expert' on my tree. Perhaps he was your Tea Drinker's boss. We've always got the kettle on in our house, so we're very proud to have a Tea Expert in the family! Natalie

The Bag Report 14 Apr 2005 16:53

Was reading an artical in a mag my mum gave me, on the medical page, about wind (excuse me!!) it tells of 'how much' and 'how often is normal'. Apparently 10 to 40 times a day is normal (really?!!) and is equal to about 0.5 to 2 litres of gas. What i want to know is what is the name of the occupation of the man that collected and measured it. Job title please!! Just for future ref of course!! Jess

One of the clients I went to when I started work was a tea importers in Tooley Street, London, just south of Tower Bridge. Very old-established business and very interesting.

Jess, if my other half has anything to do with the emissions I think it would be something like Health and Safety Officer!
