Jess, Tks your kind offer of help. Can you see William and Charles King b.1858 Redhill Surrey and 1861 Coulsdon Surrey on the 1891 census. Possibly living in the Caterham Surrey area but not at all sure about this. They are on the 1871 and thought I had found their birth cert refs and applied but they did not issue because the parents were not William and Ann (formerly Tompkins) King. That's one of the problems with such a popular name. Most grateful. Hope you can spot them (likely married) but it may be difficult. Christine!

Jess, Would you mind looking at the 1881 census for me, Im trying to find the relations living in the same household as: Alfred Chapman, born 1847 (aged approx 34) , Essex living in Englefield Green at the time of the census. His wife (if married at the time was Charlotte (born 1849, aged approx 32), although I do not know the surname). If you are successful could you look at the 1871 census, Alfred aged approx 24 and Charlotte aged approx 22, to see if there are other relations living with them. Hi Jess, You've tried to help in the past but have now received more info on my Jone's. I didn't want to ask anyone else as you've tried to hard for me in the past and I'm really gratefull. I understand that some people pose the same question to a variety of members and how this is upsetting, So I hope you don't mind me asking again. I've now got both grandparents birth certificates, but can't find their marriage, could you help? As I'm not sure if they were ever married, can't find children's birth details either. Name William Oswald Jones married Elsie Annie Coyne. they lived in Stafford & Nottingham. She apparently had 2 children before 'marriage' but I don't know if they were William Jones' or not. Although these children go by the name of Jones. The first child was born around 1925. William's parents were William and Jane and her parents were John & Frances. Hi jess; Would you be able to look and see if you have a Robert Flint married to Jane Wilson with at least 2 sons and 1 daughter, Germany, Joseph, Elizabeth maybe on more son Charles. We have lost him after Robert married Jane in Penrith in 1845. We know Robert died before 1881. Robert was born around 1822. Not sure where. Thanks Brenda

Nan married a naval man and moved around alot hence losing contact with her family. She died 15 yrs ago an my mum and her brother never really knew any of her side of the family, not even grandparents names! The only thing we have got is the names of 2 of her sisters but nothing else. Infact the only thing Ive got for sure is nans date of birth, what a familyeh! Thanks for trying anyway,glad it wasnt just me going mad with it

I think the only way Im going to resolve this is somehow get hold of my grandmothers birth certificate or find access to 1911 census. Or do you have any other ideas you can offer me?

Pulling my hair out now!! Is it poss J. Peet b1863 in Rutland, moved to Leicester and married C Lucas in 1885. I know my grandmother and siblings were all born in Leicester. Think its time I hypnotised my uncle and took him back in time!!
