Can you get in contact with your father? I think he will have to give permission before you delve into his past there are many people here who are more clued up. i will nudge up the adoption thread for you to have a look at its from a lady named Jess bow bag and its very helpful MOE! |

My father (who i have no contact with) was adopted when he was younger. I know he has been in touch with his birth family and I had the opportunity when i was younger to meet them but I didnt want to. The problem is I cant make a start on that part of my tree as I dont know his birth parents names, only the surname. Any ideas? |
