Hi everyone, I tried the Hugh Wallis site, but I'm afraid I didn't understand a word of it. Can someone with more knowledge of batch numbers explain it in simple terms? |

Sandie, I would imagine the son owned half the parents assets already, so the parent could only give away his own share, and didn't feel the tenant in common needed any more. |

I got caught out the other day on a census return, found my name, everything fitted bingo, then I accidently clicked on the next name. it turns out it was the same name, same place of birth and same parents names, same brothers names, but one was in the workhouse one was not. It turns out they were cousins. Check everything just to rule people out. |
