Afternoon all! My great grandfather was born in Military Barracks, Newry in N.Ireland. 06/09/1896 His name was Edward Henry Walsh Cotter mother was May/Mary Cotter nee Walsh father was John Cotter (deceased) late of India, Sergeant, Essex Regiment How can I find out more about John Cotter and what happened to him? Who can I contact regarding his death in India? Will there be records held somewhere about his employment in the Regiment? I know you guys know your stuff!! Looking forward to your replies Carley |
