English Bob Report 26 Jun 2005 10:08

Jess, Good morning. Explanation for request first. I have obtained the correct death certificate for my (1823c) Thomas Cooke, died Leicester 1875 given as 51yoa, cirrhosis, present and also at the correct address of 64 Granby Street was 2nd youngest son Arthur. I have long suspected tragedy and have also been pursuing an early death for his son 1846 twin Thomas, in that respect I have obtained a death certificate for such at 26yoa in 1872. this young man died of small pox, more unfortunately for me is that his father is given as William Cooke, nevertheless, there is better, he is also a Cab proprietor, and lives just around the corner at 70 Rutland Street, Leicester I am therefore hoping that you may be able to identify a family group with either William or Thomas as the Head at that address in 1871. Loads of thanks in advance win or lose, Bob

Hello Jess I am trying to find information on the marriage of a George Thompson (could also be George Mason Thompson) and Mary Trevis, married at St. Clement Danes Westminster c. Nov.3 1850. Could you look up their household in the 1861 census? I am interested in their children. Also is there any way you might find Mary's birthdate and parent names? I am new to all this so if this isn't possible please let me know. Thank you. Margaret.
