Hi Jess, I am going round in circles. Can you please do a DOD look-up for me for ARTHUR LEWSLEY, b. 1855 Pancras, London. Family lived around Pancras, Marylebone areas of London. In 1881 census family lived Thorpdale Rd. Pancras. There is an Arthur Lewsley on the 1901 census born Kentish Town, London, but I'm not sure if it's the same person. ARTHUR H. LEWSLEY b. 1878 is his son. I know from his marriage certificate that ARTHUR LEWSLEY was dead by 1920. Lynne:-)

Hi Jess, Thank you for looking. Looks like I'll have to send for Arthur H. Lewsley's first marriage (1901 march 1/4) certificate and verify that way. If Arthur Lewsley is recorded as deceased on Marriage certificate reasonable to assume he wouldn't be recorded on 1901 census! Thanks again, Lynne:-)
