LYn Do you have the birth cert for mary Jane? What is her mothers name please? There are over 100 James James in Glamorganshire alone, So many of them will have had a son called Thomas, its hopeless. How do you know the fathers were born 1860-1866? jess

I haven't Lyn because i cant make a lot of sense out of what you have posted,sorry Details on Thomas James`s father James James < OK but don`t know if you can as he was deceased when his son married < when did he marry? b 1860-1866 i would think in Gilfach Goch,< was this where he was born or married or where his father died?

Hi Jess Many thanks for any help you can give me, the info i really want is: Details on Thomas James`s father James James but don`t know if you can as he was deceased when his son married b 1860-1866 i would think in Gilfach Goch, when Thomas married he lived at 5 Fountain Road Gilfach Goch just wondering if there was any other children listed at that address. Also Mary Jane Davies`s father David Davies living when his daugther married, when married she lived at 23 Coronation Row Gilfach Goch, just wondering if any other children were listed at that address. It says they were both 21 when married but i do know that Thomas was only 19 so not know if there was a age limit back then, Thomas was a Coal Miner when married and Mary was a General Servant (Domestic) and both fathers were Coal Miners. They were married on the 1/7/1907, in the district of Bridgend in a Register Office. The witness`s were Alfred Daniels and Margaret Ann Daniels who are also listed within my family history book but with no conection. If you could help that would be great as this is all the info i have, i do know that when their first son Ivor James was born they lived at 9 Tram Road Row, Gilfach Goch which was 1/7/1908. June, even with 5 names to search I cannot find any of them in 1861. if they are not listed as Crowder they could be anything.... Even searched on Ann living in Hawarden, nothing like Crowder, and without knowing where they might be, wth no distinctive christian name to pick out its hopeless sorry

Hi Jess, His father is called John, Mother Ann, all i have is that James and his 2 brothers Thomas 1843, John 1846 where all Christened in Haward Flint Wales have him on 1881 married to Hannah living in Kingston upon hull york regards June

June, struggling with that one, any idea what his parents names might have been? cant find any in 1871 and struggling in 1861 too
