Help needed deleting tree

Somebody help me please! I have read all the advice and the tips and the help on deleting my tree (don't panic, I'm only trying to upload a fresher, bigger, better one) but something won't let me! I delete the whole thing down to my 'tree owner', but then individuals keep popping back up, like weeds in a garden you've just sprayed! This must have come up before, surely? Does anyone have ANY idea what I'm on about? This is really frustrating, as the button marked 'delete' should surely do just that, and I see no other posts with the same query? HELP!
