I've tried Scotlands People and I've tried Ancestry but neither site has census returns for Kilmarnock currently. If anyone has a census CD or access to census returns for 1851, 1861 or 1871 and could look up James LITTLE and his wife Margaret living at 14 East Shaw St, Kilmarnock (in 1881) I would be reallyy grateful. James was born in Sanquhar, Dumfries in 1828, was a woollen manufacturer and a town councillor in 1881. Many thanks Jenny |
