hi susan thanks a lot for looking. it has pretty much confirmed everything that i had found, and of which, i had been told was completely incorrect! either we have discovered some new unexpected relatives or we are utterly wrong?!? could i possibly ask you to look up AGNES MARGARET SIDDLE born circa 1885, in willington, durham. i have a feeling this could be a major link in family ties... particularly with whom her parents were or agnes' siblings. a massive thank you for doing the searching, it really is a huge help for many of us. pam

Where was he in after then, if he survived he was the only one of three siblings I have found so far. 2/William brockhurst b1873 Rackham Sussex 1881 living with father Charles b1832 then a widower. hi susan i would be really grateful if you could try find some information on the 'humble' family, especially: dorothy, born around 1874 ruth, born around 1892 helena, born ? these are all rough dates that i have tried piecing together from bmd. if you could also find the names of their parents, then that would be brilliant. i am told that dorothy didn't marry, so there is a possibility that she still may be living with her family (if she was born in the year that i have put). i think they were all born in the durham/northumberland area, possibly bishop auckland. any information would be invaluable. thanks pam

Many thanks Susan, I'm sure this is my grandad, really strange but I have also checked the 1901 census and can find no trace of him or his family. I know he had a brothers one was called Alfred, that's about all I know. So many questions i wish I asked him before he died.
