Diane, using Tintern there is 1 - born 1803. using Monmouthshire there are loads, even refining the birth date +/- 1 year sorry

I know he had a sister by the name of Martha Gartside and another brother named Eastwood Gartside. He worked as a Colliery Pony Driver- Below Ground. Dear Jess, Did you have a good day out at the weekend. Did you manage to have alook for my WILLIAM LILLY LENDRUM BARCLAY in the 1861 Census? If you did and I missed the reply then put it down to old timers trouble!!! The information I have for him is as follows: He was born in 1849 in Peterhead Aberdeenshire and his father died the following year. I 'got' him in the 1851 Censu livng with his mother in Peterhead. She remarried in 1854 to Peter Allan. My next information about him is in the 1871 Census when he was living as a lodger in Hebburn in Tyneside. He would be ca 11 years old in 1861 but I've no idea where he is. Derek
