Maybe they remembered they knew the answer? I must admit, I've done that before. I'm not aware of the post you are referring to, but I do know how annoying it is. Take a deep breath, and start again :)

Maybe they thought it a silly question. maybe they found the answer hidden somewhere themselves maybe they are new maybe they are unsure maybe they didn't mean to delete it maybe it had spelling mistakes... any number of reasons i suppose. better deleted than left for the sake of it surely? jess

On reflection: Why ask the question YOU have? If it was a newby, then your manner would put them off (not what we want , is it?) If it wasn't a newby ( and i have no way of knowing to whom you are refering) then why not ask them direct? There is more than enough antagonism in the world without creating it!!

Hi All Must admit, I have posted a question then deleted it virtually straight away. Sorry if it offends but I deleted because I suddenly twigged where to look for the answer (so didnt want to waste peeps time looking up stuff). Also, sometimes i have posted a thread only for no-one to answer after an hour or so, so thought it better to delete it. Everything that people do on this board seems to upset someone lately. You cant win. Hence the reason I very rarely post or answer threads anymore (and this one I have replied to will no doubt cause upset aswell). Vikki xx

Lal, how very true That's why we should never stop asking questions. Even if we do know the answer, we may not remember before asking, but will certinainly find out after we ask. Either from someone else giving us the answer, or by our brains 'switching' themselves on. Vikki - keep posting. Don't let anyone stop you from doing what you want :)

Yes we all have moments where the mind goes blank, then........... hey presto, It suddenly comes back to you! Its called being 'human' :)) Occasionally I have started a thread with a quiery then suddenly remembered the answer, so I have deleted it! However, Im sure Brenda did'nt mean to upset any one deliberatly! Lib

Hi Lal, Susie & Tracey Dont worry huns, I wont stop posting - I am just selective about which threads I post on. I do think however, that Brenda did not have the intention of causing a row on the board, rather just venting a personnal frustration at helping a thread only for it to disappear. Chin up peeps, we are none of us perfect..... Vikki xx

Shall we leave it there then? We all do it, we all have reasons and all feel equally daft at times. I dont for one moment suppose brenda DID mean to cause a stir...so lets not, eh?....especially as Susie is feeling better Jess

This thread was nudged at 9.24 I do hope no one is trying to cause trouble for Brenda, as that would be unkind of them. I was going to comment earlier but thought this thread would die off naturally, and didn't want it to surface again. Brenda, Hope you are OK hon, think you owe me a few drinks, as I bought the last round!! :o)))) Kim x
