Hi Margaret Could you possibly narrow down the year of death a bit more? I hate to sound mean, but I'm trying to do as many lookups as I can, and with no rough idea of year of death it would take ages and lots of credits. Have you tried FreeBMD or Ancestry? If you could get the death down to around 4 or 5 years, I'd be happy to have a look for you. Mandy:) |

Hi Ann Not too successful I'm afraid. 1857 births are not very good quality, but I did zoom in as best I could and fairly certain that none of them were Middlesex. The nearest I could get was this one: ELIZA ATKINSON birth registered first quarter of 1857 in West Ham, vol 4a, page 1. If you'd like me to check a year either side, please let me know. Mandy:) |

Hi Mandy, This is a long shot, but I'm looking for a death that may have occured inScotland or England. I have had no luck with Scotland where I had his last address in Edinburg in 1940, He would have been 52 at that time. His mother was born in England, so after she died he may have gone there. DAVID SCRIMGEOUR PULLAR,B.NOV 13 1888 LANARK,SCOT. His parents both teachers died in their eighties, so possibly he enjoyed the same longevity and died late 60s early 70s I will keep my fingers crossed on this one X I've run out of places to look. His father was JOHN PULLAR,Mother MARY SCIMGEOUR. Thanks, Much appreciated. Margaret |

I have some 1837 credits to use by the end of the month and due to holidays and other things, I won't be able to use them myself. Neither do I really want to buy more just to extend the 'use by' date lol! If you would like a lookup, please post it on this thread and I'll try to get them done in the next few days. Mandy :) **All credits used up, but leaving thread for people to get their info** |
