Greeting's Again June... Yes you are right it's not until after 1911./12. That the Mother's Maiden name is given on the GRO Index Ref.No.'s viewed through 1837 site or Fiche .... So..... The only way I can think of ( and this depends on Arther & Louisa didn't move about too much ? and you have a rough idea of the Church..) Is to trawl through the Parish Records for BAPTISMS within the area they lived in....at Wigston Records Office. ..... Also don't forget that there was Wars going off 1899 ~ 1902 2nd Boar War. 1914.~18 WWI Just in case Arthur was involved with the forces Which might be a reason for the age gap ? ..... Yet another Mystery that might be solved when the next Census comes out ...... MIKE. |

Hi Mike Got my George Isaac Ward death cert this morning, brilliant I thought fishmonger (market) address Slawson Street, fits in with burial, no clue to wife cause George Ward was in attendance of 14 Market Street. Also went to St George's, found a Thomas Ward grave stone and some younger of his family!!! whoever they might be but not the ones you found. It's so peaceful there and even the squirrels were coming right up to us, Elaine |
