Can you remember the name of the pub? There are alot of sites on the web giving you history of public houses etc. If you know the name try googling for it. Julie |

Would anyone be able to tell me how I can find out whether an address that I have on the 1871 Census 8 CHATHAM HILL, KENT, was a PUB. As my gt grandad lived there with his family and whilst I was in Kent at the weekend I went to have a look and found that It is a pub now but not sure about it back then!! Many thanks in advance Jennie |
