Anyone who has family that lived in or were born in Ebernoe, West Sussex should get a book called Ebernoe - Church of England School - A History. Children from surrounding areas would have also attended. It has the admissions register for 1877 to 1951. It lists more 800 pupils who attended the school. It's also an insight to life in the area. There are photo's as well of some of the children and buildings. The book was published locally and there are only a limited number of copies. It's about 10 pounds including postage. email (the author) [email protected] I learnt a lot from it and discovered some more family connections - Wendy |
