Please can you help? My grandmother was born 24/12/1884. I can't find her on the 1901 census but think she was adopted by a farmer. Her nams was Elizabeth Grace Bramley or Grace Elizabeth. Her father William was dead by 1908 when she married. I would love to trace her and her parents, grandparents. She would have been living in Liverpool, Great Crosby I think. I believe her sister was shipped to Canad for adoption Thank you so much in anticipation Annie |

Hi please look up: George Wilcock born 1833 Bransley South Yorkshire. He's listed on 1901 living at Burley In Wharfedale with a daughter Susannah Wilcock born 1890. Violet Susannah Wilcock was my gr, granny and I don't know who her mother was, or whether she had any siblings. I'd be very keen to learn why there is such a large age gap? When/who did george marry? cheers |

Hi Debs, Thanks for trying anyway, I've got Elizabeth Jackman 1881 RG11 3990 with her children and 1871 RG 10/4039 as a Border with daughter Mary, just can't find her husband George after 1861 although Elizabeth is not widowed then. Just like the rest of my family all being elusive at some time or another. Thanks again, Lou |
