Hi Debra, Could you find John Pyett B 1836 Debenham Suffolk. in 1861 living in Hindley Lancashire .I have the 1871 census showing his wife as Ellen Wood B 1838 Hindley. but feel he was previously married to Elizabeth Ranicar. in 1859 Lancashire records show this.. so the 1861 should clarify this.i would like to know which children were from first marriage. Could be 2 different John Pyetts ??.Many Thanks Tony

Hello, can you try and find a William Miller (c1863) living with a sister Catherine Miller (c1854) in Northamptonshire please? I think she married in 1874, so if you can find those two together on the 1871 that would be brilliant. I have him as a visitor on the 1881 census, staying with his sister and her family. I just need confirmation they were brother and sister to work it all out and find parent's etc. Thankyou in advance.

Hello Debra, can you help please. I have the Richardson family 1861-91.Always Richmond,Surrey. Both James & Mary died prior to 1901. James Richardson DOB 1825/6 City of London (plumber/Labourer on 1861 then Painter 71-91.) Wife Mary A DOB 1831 Sutton Courtney,Berkshire and children. I can't find them on 1851 and thought I had the marriage for them 1852 St Pancras James Richardson & Mary Ann Forster. Their first child I found DOB 1854, Richmond ,Surrey Elizabeth Richardson. Have just sent off for marriage cert to confirm this and find out parents names, but have been told that the ref does not match to a James & Mary Ann but as there are two couples on each page (freebmd) James must have married the other female. Therefore not my James. Now wondering a) when they got married if not 1852 and B) maybe they are together on the 1851 census instead of searching for them separately as I had previously. Do you think you can help at all. Thanks & best wishes Jenny

Hi Debra, thanks for the offer. Seeking 1871 and 1851 information. 1871 Looking for George Jackman, I have his family but can't find him. Would appreciate help in locating him. Elizabeth is a boarder and census states she's married. George died prior to 1881, haven't found his death yet. 1851 George Jackman b 1803 Lonford Middlesex Elizabeth Jackman b 1818 Peckham Surrey Elizabeth Jackman b 1839 Lancashire Manchester Thomas Jackman b1849 Lancashire Manchester Henry Jackman b 1851 Lancashire Manchester I've got the family in 1861 and George is Engine Driver but on his son's birth cert dated 1852 he's Ribbon and Silk Finisher. I'm sure it's the right family as everything else matches except his occupation. Would appreciate any help you can offer me on this one, I can't find George and Elizabeth's marriage either and I've tried, free, local & uk bmd. Regards Lou

That's about all the info I have. They were in the shoe making industry and she married a Joseph Comerford in Bethnal Green.

Hello Debra V. I haveen looking for a gentleman called Thomas COLLIER who was born in 1810 Bethnal Green, Stepney. I think that he Married Anne AUVACHE in 1838. Unfortunately a researcher in New Zealand is certain that he married Jane unknown and her own dynasty revolves around that Marriage. In the 1881census Thomas was widowed and lived with Amelia KEMP in Leyton Essex (Unless of course my Thomas died and this is another) The Kemp name features quite a lot in my tree so adds to my claim. So please 1851 to 1871 census would be great. Many thanks, Roger

Hi Debs, Thanks for trying anyway, I've got Elizabeth Jackman 1881 RG11 3990 with her children and 1871 RG 10/4039 as a Border with daughter Mary, just can't find her husband George after 1861 although Elizabeth is not widowed then. Just like the rest of my family all being elusive at some time or another. Thanks again, Lou
