Hi Robyne and thanks for your kind offer.If you get chance, can you have a look for Jenney Crocker who would have been in the Ermington area of Devon in 1841 (she died there in 1843 and is buried in the local churchyard).She was born around 1763 so would have been about 78 and a widow by then. Hello Robyne, Thankyou for looking for Joseph SMEDLEY. I know that he was christened in Ashover in 1813 so he could be a little older. I doubt that he would be in Ashover itself as it seems as though he and Elizabeth HARDWICK were out of favour with their parents after the illegitimate birth of my gggrandfather. Is their any Joseph Smedley of around the right age ie 25 to 30? Anything at all would be great as I am clutching at straws at the moment. Thankyou Russell |

Joseph Smedley - are you sure about dates? there are 30 in Derby and only one in Ashover, but he is 15ish. There are too many Elizabeths too to narrow it down, and none in the right areas |

Hi Robyne, Can I please ask for another look up on 1841 census in Somerset of: Thomas Osborn(e) born abt 1801 Camerton, Somerset head Catherine Osborn(e) born abt 1795 Camerton , Somerset Wife some of the children should be Sarah, Elizabeth, and James. Hi robyne Is it possible to look up on the 1841 Worcestershire census in Leigh/Bransford for a Thomas (1811- Bredenbury, Herefordshire) and an Elizabeth (1799- Stoke Lacy, Herefordshire) Bowcott with their children Elizabeth Simmonds/Bowcott (1829 Leigh/Bransford, Worcs), Sarah Simmonds/Bowcott (1831 Powick, Worcs), Ann (1838 Bransford/Leigh) and maybe Samuel (1841 Bransford/Leigh). Hi Robyne, If your offer is still open could you look up in Gloucester: William Frankis. On 1851 he is a farmer, farming 42 acres. He is with his daughters Eliza aged 13, Jane aged 10 and son Robert 7 they are all born in Upton-St. Leonards. Thanks Sue |
