Right hopefully i can get some help finding CHRISTINE NEWMAN now then i can order her certificate tomorrow as well. She was definately born down south, i think in swindon, wiltshire, she went on to marry LESLIE SAMUEL SIMMS he was born in 1919 in swindon, wiltshire. The only one i have managed to find is CHRISTINE ANNIE NEWMAN born 1910 in chipping norton, oxfordshire but my family sources say they believe her middle name was LILLIAN so don't think that is the one, on family relatives that was the only one i could find! ....................................................................................... I am going to have another look onf amily relatives now to see if i can find her again!!

So perhaps your family ''sources'' are wrong and her middle name isn't Lillian? Did you look for the marriage?

I would try 1915-1922 for her birth if i were you.

This family relatives website says swindon, wiltshire only use for 1984-2003. i think that is were she was born but not 100% sure! No matches between 1910 and 1920 for her on family relatives!

The place won't matter, as you have to view the whole page anyway, so just look for her name.

When did Christine die-and was she still a Simms when she did?

Age doesn't matter all that much - I know a couple who are 20 years apart.

Have no idea when she died, LESLIE SAMUEL SIMMS died in 1989. She was CHRISTINE SIMMS when she died and believe she died in Swindon, Wiltshire!
