Hi Madeline, thanks for your kind offer. Could you please look up George Baker in Woolwich? I am not sure if Woolwich was a part of London. He was born 02 Feb 1892 in Hampshire. His family lived in Woolwich since he was little. Thanks, from Steven in Australia.

Hi Madeline Thanks for the kind offer. Could you please try for ALFRED THOMPSON, he was born in 1888 in Chelsea. He later lived in Fulham. I know he was in the 1914/18 war and was injured in the leg and sent back to London where he was in hospital for many months. He always walked with a limp. I'm sorry I don't have any more details. I know you said there isn't much for that area, but it is worth a try as you say. Thank you so much. Maggie

Hi Madeline Thank you for your kind offer. Could you see if you have anything on Charles John Bowyer, born in Mile End Old Town, London who would probably enrolled from the West Ham, London area since that is where he was living at the time of the War. Hopefully you can find him since I have not had any definitive luck with the medal lists. Thanks for your time. Sandra from Ontario, Canada

Hi Madeline, thanks for trying to find my Henry Smith. He could have come from either the Old Kent Road or Camberwell. The only thing I know for sure is that he served in the Devonshire Regiment and then transferred to Royal Warwickshire Regiment. I would be really grateful if you could spare the time to do another look up on this for me. Also many thanks for finding my Thomas Wisbey. You have given me information that I would never have known about him. Look forward to your reply for Henry Smith (my grandfather). Regards Gillian

Hi Madeline Could I please have the details of the L Burke in Kilburn? His father was possibly living in the Hampstead area by then, so that one might be a possibility. Thank you so much Lisa xx
