Hi Madeline I am looking for Frank Burton and his brothers Ernest A C Burton and Herbert Burton all living in Islington. My grandmother told me one of her brothers died in WW1 but no one in the family remembers which one. Thanks for looking for me. Best wishes, Val |

Sorry its took me so long to get back to you all but here goes Connelly all from south and wrong initials sorry Stedman none with that name sorry Sandy H Light Infantry Joined in 1916 went to the western front took part in several engagments until the war ended, was demobed in Feb 1919 & holds General & Victory Medals 47 Northfield Av West Ealing I think that the address on each are where they were living when they enlisted or joined , so your ancestors may have been born in a completly different part of London Prior , these are the different initials for each Prior W H Prior Kennington G W C Prior Battersea E F Prior Peckham G A Prior (mrs) Battersea If you think any of these are yours let me know Guildford, there is only one S C Guildford Kilburn Sheldrick , only one H G Sheldrick Camberwell |

King , there were 4 that maybe is yours S King Clapham W King Clapham W G King Wandsworth W H KingPeckham Truckle, Frederick C , sorry there was'nt any listed Remington, sorry none listed Knight, there are so many Knight's about 3 pages full, i have put a few down which may be of use but there were none from Hammersmith/ Kensington area E Knight Clapham E Knight Camberwell J Knight Lambeth Clark and Littlejohn Loads of Clarks but as i didnt have any initials it isnt possibe to write them all down, Littlejohn none at all Huse None listed sorry |

Huse sorry none listed at all Prince , one with similar initials T G Prince Rifle Brigade Kennington Tacchi, there isnt any listed at all sorry Rogers there are a few Rogers with similar initials but from Shepherds Bush , Kilburn and Brentford Burton, A E Burton, Pioneer RE Battersea H Burton RFA Battersea H Burton Royal Engineers Battersea other Burtons but are from SW W J Hughes a couple of Hughes, J Hughes Wandsworth and Battersea I think this this is yours W G Peplow Sapper Royal Engineers He joined 1917 and after his training was stationed at Regents Park on work connected with goverment building. He was not succesful in obtaining his transfer overseas owing to the important nature of his duties. He was demobed in April 1919 27 Goda Street Kennington SE London |

Frederick Reed There were 5 Reeds, one was F Reed but he was from Kensal Green and was in 1st Essex Regt Waight Sorry no with that spelling at all Longhurst, there were 5 altogether, all from Waworth and Bermonsey |
