Thank you Kat, I don't think that can be her as, because there are children in the 1851 I am sure William her husband was still alive in 1841. I wonder if they were staying over the border in Devon or Somerset? Oh well, back to the drawing board. UPDATE Just doing a bit of detective work in my records and they had a daughter born in 1842 in Misterton, which is in Somerset, sorry to waste your time with Dorset, they did move around an awful lot this famiy,, a habit which was continued by the next generation. Could you look for the following 2 please:- Jeremiah and Mary Boyles in possibly Clchester, Essex aged 40's, jeremiah is a Cordwainer/Boot-shoe maker and Alfred strickland in the Surrey area, aged 20's although born in Wareham, dorset isn't there in 1841 so think he may have moved to Surrey already. thanks Carrie:)
