BETH Are you sure about the parents ages? John and Elizabeth had left home by 1841 but they are home again in 1851, thats really odd I'll look tomorrow for John . I believe Elizabeth was a single parent to Henry abt 1847. She remains unmarried up to 1881 census. John just seems to disappear completely. Maybe he died or emigrated. Maybe he just decided he was born in a different county, lol. There is a corresponding baptism for him in Dec 1820 at Higham on the Hill, Leic. so I don't think it's an error in 1851 census. Beth :)

Hi Kat, WILTSHIRE Do you think you could look for JAMES BURCH (BIRCH)born abt 1797 in Salisbury. I can't find him on the 1851 census and by 1861 he was living in London. Hoping he was still in Salisbury(or Surrounding Area) in the 1841 census. Thank you very Much MAxine

Sorry Gloria I have to put the capitals and punctuation in so I can read it!!!, its bad enough sometimes having to find them but having to decipher first doesn't help. thanks kat but that was not the Thomas Cox in my family, here goes on 1871 census: Thomas Cox birth 1815 born Publow Pensford Somerset. wife Mary her birth ,1811, born Publow ,Pensford Somerset. On 1861 census Thomas birth date 1812 Pensford Somerset, civil parish, St Thomas. Mary, date of birth the same as 1871 census ,1811. Cant find them on 1851 census ,thought might be on 1841. thank you very much for your time.
