it is possible for him to be known by another name? there is a John Osborn 1844, Gidleigh, living with his sister Johanna & her husband George. there is also a James Osborn, 1841 Gidleigh, lodger do you know his occupation? |

I'm missing my GGGrandfather on the 1861 census. He is on every one from cradel to the grave except this one. I have his family but he's not with them, I've tried first name only, last name only, wildcards and soundex - but nothing, starting to think he was overseas or had been abducted by aliens ..............................
