I AM NOW CONFUSED!!! Just looking at 1841 census: George Gale 55 Ag Lab Geniford? Gale 45 (female) Ann Gale 9 1841 doesn't state relationships. Where does Jane Blight come from? |

Ok I'm trying to find information on my ggggg grandfather born in around the end of the 1700's. I asked for help last night regarding the 1841 & thank you to those of you what helped but I'm now really confused! I had found George Gale married to Jennifer Colmer in North Hill, previously on a site (forgot to make a note of it) they had at least one son Shadrack Gale born in 1819 at North Hill. Last night someone found a George Gale living in North Hill married to Jane Blight with a daughter Anna Gale (1832). When George died Jane continued to live in North Hill with her daughter & her family. The problem is I now don't know which of these George's is my ggggg grandfather & how I would go about finding out.....also I'm pretty sure if the 2nd George isn't my grandafather he must be connected in some way (small area). Please help me outa my hole!! |
