anyone else haveing trouble with searching genes?

I seem to be having no luck searching only half results seem to show .........says 9 matches at top but I only get 4 .......keeps saying search error 5............is it just me? sandie

I thought I might find a thread like this - I've had the same problem. I haven't contacted Support yet - guess I should? Perhaps they're trying to sort out the earlier problem where it would come up claiming to have no matches, but actually there were a whole lot but all scrolled to the far right of the page. I've been getting that problem for days, and usually if you redo the search a few times or tweak the search parameters it will work in the end. Very annoying though. Kate.

I have been getting the same problem, also no reaction when I click on someones name to send a message. Thought it may have been me. Ellen X

Yep. I'm having problems too. Hot matches aren't coming up properly and I have to keep hitting refresh to make them load. Plus some other odd error messages.

Yes, (1) can't navigate my tree - stuck (2)... or anybody else's . All I get is the cup of coffee icon when I click on the symbols above the name - well not above the names any more - they've all mved to one side of the page (3)the search page - eg says 9 matches, only some of them come up (if I'm lucky), generally non BUT all of them come up when I reload the page I have just mailed support for help with problem no 2 might get a reply? Carole

Yes, I've just logged on to do my 'research' only nothing on my Tree Searches, no explanation, nothing, blank, just like the parrot, dead!!

My Tree Matches just gives me a heading but no results, says to contact support. I am glad it is not just me! I guess if enough of us contact support, they will do something about it?! Christine in NZ

The problem seems to be getting worse. I can hardly access anything now. It would help if Support at least put a message on the boards with an explanation. Terry

Definitely a problem!! (Plus first attempt to post reply resulted in error screen, and hot matches and my tree matches all gone!!) Search facility says this: Oh dear – I’m afraid this page isn’t currently available on Genes Reunited. To return to our homepage and discover your ancestors: Click here for www.genesreunited(.)co(.)uk Not sure how I can find my ancestors if search is not working.......!!

Not working for me either. I came home an hour earlier from work to get on with some research and I keep getting the error message too. Julia
