Gloria Yes I found that census, but no Zach! He would have been 24 in 1881 so could have married or been working away, possibly emigrated as I can't find him. He had a sister who has disappeared also. Carole xx |

It is possable the child was never registered! The law was tightened in the 1870's to ensure parents registered the children but before many parents beleived that baptisum was a cheaper alternative. |

Jean Never heard of Zephamah! I have a Zachariah Moy born in 1857 Walsingham District but hes nowhere to be found, this is the only possibility, wonder if they spelt his name wrong? Carole xx |

Just had another look, and I cannot see it being Zachariah. There is a thread on here somewhere today that says Ancestry 1881 is difficult to search at the moment. Gloria :-))) |

?phaman/h (last letter could be either but their looks like a faint tail for a H) the first letter looks like a 4 but I wondered if it should be a L. The name above is Hannah Maria Catherine Elizabeth MOY The name below is Ellen MOYE so your childs name begins with a letter between H and Z. |
