I've being trying to find a Culf family connection with another GR member but we are having problems. Here's her ancestors in 1901 John A CULF 38 Filecutter (Arthur is middle name) Martha CULF 36, Sarah A 14, Harry 11, Mary A 9, William 6, Edith E 5, Charles 3, Lucy 2. Address is in Sheffield and all born there except Martha who was born in Rotherham. The problem we have is the bad mistranscriptions of the surname. The family above can be found as BOLF on Ancestry. Other family members appear over the years as Cull, Cullf, Culff, Calf, Culph, Bolph, Gulf, Gull, and others too numerous to mention. If anyone could find John in any other Census that would be greatly appreciated.
