Did amy have any siblings - I might have found her..........I wasn't sure as it looks like a 2nd marriage for Parents...............!! there was a daughter calld Weston !!!!!!!!!! Bum........Can I find it again - I'll go back and check !!

Hi Esta, No, I couldn't find her on the 1861 census either! Her father was a labourer. I think I have found Amy's parents marriage and Sarah's surname was Weston when she married Henry. But this was her second marriage and I still don't know her maiden name. Jackie.

.....was trying to find Amy on a census('61) but no luck so far.....the only possible I could see is a neice with a family named Thingo !.....

Thanks Dea, I would appreciate you having a look. Jess, Amy Smith was born in 1852 in St Lawrence, Reading, Berks. Her fathers name was Henry Smith and her mothers first name was Sarah. Thankyou both for your help, Jackie.

I received a birth certificate this morning but I can't read the mothers maiden name. Is there anything I can do? Jackie.
