I am looking for the marriage of Angelina Ford to a Mr Barber I believe in Chesterfield. Angelina's maiden name was Pisani. The children of the Barber marriage are: Esther Amy Barber born Jan 1910 Chesterfield John Barber born Feb 1911 Chesterfield Elsie Barber born Jan 1915 Newark Angelina was married to William Ford before he died - death date unknown. I have looked through the ancestry images from 1907 - 1920 and can't see anything and I don't know if I am missing anything! Thanks

the only one i could find was Angelina ford sept 1910 Winchester 2c 286.BUT theres no Barber with the same ref. On freebmd it gives anothe name on that ref as Henry J Haskell.does that ring any bells?? Shirley

I've checked marriages back to 1903 now. Nothing. The only other missing qtr is JAS 1904.

The last child on your list Pippa, Elsie Barber, has her mothers maiden name shown as Pesani.. Birth ref: Elsie Barber 1915 Mar Q Newark Vol 7b page 1033. - mmn = Pesani Have you sent for the birth certs of any of the children? That would give you the fathers name.

In case you were wondering about there being five names transcribed (max should be four after 1852), it's Edgar James who has the wrong page number! Merry

THANKS!!! Sorry had to take my little Beaver to St George's Day Parade. He is leaving Beavers on Tuesday and it is a proud day as he gets to carry the flag. His necker is red and white anyway that I feel adds to the event. Thanks everyone for their help from Pippa who realises that she is not totally mad after all.
