I've found my ancestors discharge documents. Among other little hints it mentions that 'he is in possession of the China Medal (1860) with clasps for Taku fort'. After googling, I found a China Medal Roll CD on ebay. Does anyone here already have this CD already that could do me a favour and look up my ancestor on it? His name is George Grace and he was in the Royal Artilliery. Also, I have found a couple of publications from savannah publications called: 'China Medal Roll 1856-1860: British Army' 'Dispatches of the China War 1856-1860' Anyone happen to have these, or know where I can borrow them from.
