Thanks Kath, I have done so much searching lately and got loads of info but I'm waiting for 3 cetificates because although I'm sure I'm right I don't want to put it all in my Tree just in case! i found it on FreeBMD, just entered isabels name, and start year, she popped up in 1911, click the ref. no and it gives all the others with same ref. 1 is usually the other partner !!! easy peasy.................

i used ancestry england and wales BMD index, you can register and use it free

There is this marriage:- Isabel Young, March qtr. 1911, Whitby, 9d, 664 or 654 (unclear) Unfortunately the spouses name is not given in the indexes until the Sept. qtr. of 1911, HOWEVER - there is this reference for Vasey:- Arthur Vasey, March qtr 1911, Whitby, 9d, 664 or 654 (again unclear). I'd say this is too much of a coincidence not to be your couple. Kath. x

can you give dates of childrens births to narrow it down?

Not much information here but can any one find a Marriage of a Isabel Young married a Vasey after late 1910 probably Whitby. Her first child was born Young so we know she wasnt married then. Subsequent children called Vasey.
