Viewing large trees, help needed

Evening, I am really sorry if I am repeating an old thread, but I have looked and cant find it. I am trying to use the tree viewer for a large tree, I was worried that (as it says) it wouldnt show me the whole thing, but it keeps crashing my computer. How can I view the whoel tree?
