Hi Cheryl, Thank you for your kind offer! Could you see if there are any 'Hitchcock' deaths between 1882 and 1887. I am primarily trying to check that a Dawson James Hitchcock and his wife Hannah didn't have any baby deaths between their marriage in 1882 and the birth of their daughter Lily in 1888. Lily was born in Basford, so would like to confirm she didn't have any older siblings that might have died during that period. Many thanks indeed, Kind regards, Chris |

Hi Cheryl Thank you very much for looking. I was afraid that there would be too many. It's the usual brick wall with Smith I'm afraid. I can't go back because I can't trace them early enough. Harry's fathers name was John (would you believe:) but I don't think that will help as I think they may have been estranged, so not likely to have been buried together. My only hope was that he was buried with Martha who died March 1919 or Emma. Don't worry, thank you so much anyway. Chrissie |

Hi Cheryl I don't know how your CD works. Is a Smith impossible please??????? and how close does the death date need to be? If not, I would love to find Harry Smith who died between 1946 and 1956. His 1st wife Martha died in 1919 but I don't know when his 2nd wife died. She was Emma but was much younger. She was only 28 when she married him in Nov 1919, he was 50. Please don't go to a lot of trouble though. Thanks - Chrissie |
