Things were going great until my G Gran being born in Ireland but its a big place and have no idea where !! My GGrandad can't be found on the 1861 census,but is on 1881 and 1901. Very strange. BUT, I have come to a dead end now , just going round in circles. Will pop in and read the boards cos I'm nosey !!! GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY HUNTING. Janinex

I meant to say I found them on the 1891 census...not the 1881. sorry....error on my part ! I am very excited by the 1871 census that you found, with Charles and Parents..do you think that it would be woth getting a birth cert with the details on.How would I get the number??
